With an aged coffered exterior and a sky painted on its interior, an overturned dome rests quietly on a gallery floor. This sculptural piece was most recently exhibited as a component in an installation titled, "The Sky Is Falling, The Sky is Falling: A Natural History of The Painted Cloud", a solo exhibition at the Art Gallery at North Central College, Naperville, Illinois, and as a painting/sculpture in a solo exhibition titled "Involving the Sky: Hybrid Painting, Sculpture, and Video Works”, at the Indianapolis Art Center, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2011.
